Abstract: This paper discusses the adoption of social media in higher education and especially in information systems (IS)/information technology (ICT) education. The study was based on the unified technology adoption approach as the best background theory to study this phenomenon. Followed by the theoretical part, the rationale and design of the study survey on the use of social media in learning is introduced and the results are analyzed.
