Abstract: The COLLABORATIVE UNIT represents a unique opportunity for postgraduate students at London College of Fashion to explore and define new approaches to multi-disciplinary collaboration in fashion and the creative industries. This paper documents the development of an online platform to enable hundreds of student collaborators, staff and industry partners to share the process and outcomes of their creative investigations into collaboration in fashion. Over the past two years, we have established and refined an approach which promotes ownership of online ‘digital studio’ spaces by students and a culture of sharing.
