Abstract: Blogs can be tools for expressing and reflecting on experiences made at the workplace and thus may help to reduce occupational stress. Several studies underline that teaching is a profession that can cause significant occupational stress resulting in physical and psychological health issues and high dropout rates. This paper is a report on the findings of an online survey with the basic totality of teachers in Germany who blog about their professional lives. The study gives an overview on their blogging habits and attitudes towards the possibility of reducing occupational stress by blogging.
