Share Paper: Integration of Flipped Classroom and CSCL: A Case Study on Student Teachers in Taiwan
Abstract: This study aims to explore student teachers’ learning perceptions of a flipped classroom approach that integrates CSCL. Student teachers are the key figures in the future education field, and our study hopes to offer them practical pedagogy. The research was implemented at a national university in Taiwan with 31 student teachers across an eighteen-week course. Interviews and student reflections were collected. Results show that such approach offers sufficient prior knowledge and promoted knowledge internalization, and it generates efficient discussion. Recommendations for future implementation of flipped classroom that integrates CSCL are provided in the article.
