Abstract: In Fall 2015, 120 undergraduate students enrolled in a newly redesigned, blended, and flipped Calculus I course offered by the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences at New York University’s College of Arts and Science. This paper aims to describe the analysis, design, and production process to create instructional modules as part of this course redesign. Reflecting on the first iteration of the course, this paper will also describe lessons learned from the project undertaking, perceived benefits, as well as next steps in this iterative redesign.
