Abstract: Higher Education learners have become diverse with a variety of learning needs and preferences in addition to those with documented disabilities. Canada, unlike the US, does not have national legislation for providing support and access for learners with disabilities. We identify the universal design for learning principles and provide recommendations to support learners of all abilities including those with disabilities in face to face and online classes with Instructure Canvas LMS.
