Abstract: This purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of a new life science e-learning tool implemented in fourth and fifth grade classes during the spring of 2016. 329 students in 5 states participated in the study. The study investigated whether students who used the new e-learning tool showed stronger life science skills than comparable students using other life science materials and whether students who used the e-learning tool increased their interest in science.
