Share Paper: Instructional Design for Personalized Learning in the Digital Space

Abstract: Personalized learning involves using resources to meet the student’s learning needs, by offering feedback and adjusting teaching-learning activities specific to the student. Two levels of personalized learning are highlighted in educational technology literature: the course/curricular level, and the level of academic planning toward the student’s completion of a degree. Course-level personalized learning has traditionally been carried out by the instructor, who monitors student performance and offers differentiated instruction to help the student meet the course goals.
