Abstract: The increasing emergence of eLearning and educational technologies in recent years has significantly impacted the instructional methods used in all learning environments. However, many practitioners question if these innovations are authentically benefitting learners. This article proposes how educators in a corporate training environment can engage adult learners in student-centered, constructivist learning opportunities that are inherently able to satisfy their psychological needs through the strategic implementation of a flipped, or blended learning environment.
