Abstract: Flipped classroom has been a popular instructional approach, however, it also receives questions in terms of its effectiveness and implementation. This workshop will address challenges from both faculty and student perspectives during the stages of flipping a class. Cases from two institutions will be shared with audiences. Several identified critical factors such as video design, time, motivation and workload will be discussed during the presentation.
