ID: 51164
Abstract: This presentation discusses the design and development of a web-based, interactive cyberbullying prevention training program for middle school students and shares findings from a survey administered with the target students on the effectiveness of the program. Results show that the students highly valued the entertaining features of the program and perceived entertainment had a strong influence on their learning engagement. This study explores the importance of entertainment in a web-based training program and suggests design ideas to maximize both entertainment and engagement.
