Abstract: In this paper an innovative environment to manage 3D virtual worlds and interactive e-learning objects applied in several energy contexts, is discussed. Specifically, the application is focused on the management of an innovative Concentrating Solar Plant (CSP) integrated with a solar energy storage and gas back-up system, a steam Rankine cycle for electrical power production, and co-generation facilities such as water desalination and building air conditioning.
