Feedbacks from a Faculty Certification Course for Online Teaching: Desired Training Content and Activities

This paper presents a four year result of implementing faculty certification course, which prepares faculty for teaching online. Feedbacks from a total of 23 sessions from 2013 to 2017 were analyzed. The finding reveals that faculty prefer hands-on experiences with the learning management system, scenarios for handling student issues, and a knowledge sharing community. Recommendations for course revisions are provided.
