Abstract: The poster session provides an overview of the newly developed eFun app which aims to measure cognitive executive functions in an engaging, valid and child-friendly way in primary school students. Primary school requires a new set of skills, for example, to sit down quietly and pay attention to what the teacher is saying, without getting distracted. Executive functions (EFs) facilitate navigating the new expectations of primary school by orchestrating thoughts, emotions and attention towards a goal. Not surprisingly, EFs have shown to predict success in school and life. Although interest in EFs has been increasing over the past two decades, current measurement tools for children have not significantly improved in the past two decades (Wallisch, Little, Dean, & Dunn, 2018).
