Abstract: Augmented reality (AR) is a tool that is currently being explored and implemented in educational contexts to increase learning outcomes. AR involves an overlay of a virtual element upon the real environment, which allows users to interact with 3D virtual elements while simultaneously being completely "present" in their actual surroundings. With the advent of intuitive and cost friendly apps that allow AR applications, accessibility has exponentially increased.
