Abstract: This paper presents the findings of a study carried out as part of the EU Horizon 2020-funded project NEWTON in the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava with 48 undergraduate students. The purpose of the study is to learn how multimedia adaptation influences participants’ knowledge gain and learning satisfaction. Multimedia adaptation refers to altering some parameters of a multimedia stream such as resolution or bitrate in case of video during the streaming process.
