Share Paper: Our Experience Implementing Blackboard Delivery System in a High School

Abstract: The presentation is on the experience implementing Blackboard online delivery system with 20 teachers in a high school. Stages, problems and positive results are described. Recommendations on how to introduce Blackboard (or a similar online delivery program) in a high school are provided. The study regards implementing Blackboard from a more general point of view: as a means to provide sustainable professional development for inservice teachers. It is suggested that that Blackboard can serve as a vehicle for introduction and implementation of other software in the schools.
