Effective Use of Cellular Phones in a Large Class for Activating Students’ Participation
Abstract: The purpose of the current research is not only to confirm the validity of using cellular phones in large class settings, but also to investigate a further possibility of expanding an efficient use of cellular phones. The results of the current experiment have indicated that it is not good enough to simply install the “Question Box” and carry out “In-class Surveys” at random. What is important is to use the device systematically and to figure out in what ways can cellular phone system be utilized to its utmost advantage.
