Abstract: This presentation will include an overview of audio conferencing, including three essential components that work simultaneously enabling students to communicate to the instructor and/or classmates while viewing visual material (e.g., PowerPoint slides, web pages, and images). The synchronous learning environment helps bridge the gap between the course material and the physical classroom. The presenter will share data on student learning outcomes, examples and experiences with the technology to help participants consider different applications for enhancing online courses and student interactions. Participants will learn the significance of using audio conferencing to enhance student interactions and learning in a online course.
