Abstract: Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is rapidly changing and emerging into our daily lives. In the area of educational technology, changes have been dramatic. In contrast to other areas of importance, however, women’s professional achievement in technology has actually regressed (Sanders, 2005). In view of a growing role of technology in the world—in education, communications, occupations, and entertainment, and as a tool for solving the world’s problems—low and decreasing representation is a major worry.
