Abstract: First of all we investigated the surroundings regarding the Internet in the staff room at school in Okayama Prefecture of Japan. It was revealed that most of staff rooms at schools were ready for use of e-learning for teacher training in 2004. Secondly we examined which is more useful, documentary video or live-action video in rich-media presentation. We asked teachers to monitor both of them. As a result about two thirds of teachers answered that live-action video was better and about one third answered equal. The participant teachers indicated advantages and disadvantages of both.
