Designing an Online Mentor Training Course: What Do We Learn

Abstract: With the increase of online enrollments in colleges and universities, there is an increasing need for qualified online instructors or mentors for the success of online degree programs in both traditional colleges and non-traditional institutions. A strong mentor training program will certainly provide a great support to the overall quality of online programs. This paper describes both practices and procedures for creating an online training course for mentors who will facilitate online courses in a non-traditional state college in U.S.A.
