Abstract: This study investigates adults’ listening strategies in ESL contexts. This is an academic report regarding the industry-university cooperation supported by Meiho Institute of Technology (MIT) and Pingtung Labor College, both in southern Taiwan. An evaluation of how effectively ESL learners apply their listening strategies is required for instructors to successfully achieve ESL listening gains in classrooms.
