Technology Integration: Overlapping, Conceptualization and Implementation: Addressing Faculty Concerns and Differences about Adoption of New Technologies
Abstract: The objective of the study was to collect and to analyze the data to determine the patterns of technology use and to identify the faculty’s concerns, their overall satisfaction degree of its services, and the barriers that hinder its use. This process will help to serve as the basis for the strategic plan for the College transformation. Faculty members of the College of Educational Sciences at The University of Jordan will be surveyed to assess their current use of technology. Interview questions were used to investigate and specify areas where more guidance and training in technology use are needed. Data collection for the study was interview questions with faculty who showed interest to be interviewed. The structured interview questions were asked to only 15 (38%) of the original 40 faculty members who had expressed a willingness to participate in an interview. Data analysis will involve qualitative techniques
