Abstract: The use of teacher reflection is a key tool in further developing teacher practice for beginning or experienced teachers. Current technology supports student reflection through the use of video annotation. One of the advantages of such tools is the ability to capture a real teaching event that can be analyzed and reflected upon at a later date repeatedly by the teacher, peers, and supervisors. Only a number of mature video annotation products exists as either stand-alone applications or web based systems.
