Abstract: This proposal describes the implementation of an e-learning initiative to facilitate a significant faculty paradigm shift in the way learning and teaching occurs at Brigham Young University-Idaho. Shortly after the arrival of a new university president, an initiative commenced to identify the principles that would foster dramatic improvement in the quality of learning and teaching. The result: the BYU-Idaho Learning Model, changing how students learn and how teachers teach. The faculty would now become facilitators of learning, versus providers of information. To facilitate this change, an innovative website was designed, developed, and introduced to the faculty in the fall of 2008. Early results indicate a positive response to the website in promoting change and adoption of the Learning Model through faculty collaboration.
