Abstract: A three-dimensional social virtual world is an online environment centered on providing an alternative to real life where experiences may be lived out in relative safety. There are issues, however, much like real life where insensitivity to others, aggressiveness, and predatory behavior may exist in spite of code of conduct agreements and agreements of net-social norms. The internet provides opportunity for anonymous and non-physical interaction, encouraging lowered inhibition. Therefore, risk taking becomes easier in this open environment.
