Abstract: Texas Christian University developed and implemented a faculty development model to support the improvement of teaching and learning in online courses and programs. The Identify-Diagnose-Adjust (IDA) Model addresses course improvement, faculty development, and student learning outcomes through the use of technology and human interactions. The IDA model was developed to assess and then develop pertinent areas in online courses, thus improving student learning. TCU completed in spring 2010 the first completed IDA process with the Doctor of Nurse Practice (DNP) program. This presentation will discuss how IDA was instrumental in a successful online graduate program redesign from student online orientation to accreditation.
