Share Paper: Assessment of Students’ Usage of Computers Technologies by Program at Botswana College of Agriculture

Abstract: A survey of 120 students who frequently visit the Information Technology (ICT) laboratory at Botswana College of Agriculture was conducted to establish the activities which students of different educational programs in the college perform. Respondents indicated that 80% of their time in the laboratory was used for communication purposes, followed by 70% doing assignments, and 20% preparation for presentations. Respondents also indicated that most of the communication they carry out during their visit to college IT laboratory was mainly sending e-mails, followed by face-book, and last was the use of Skype.
