Abstract: Statement of the instructional problem: The Director of Faculty Development offers a course for faculty new to online teaching. It is a pedagogy course that helps faculty adjust their teaching practices to better suit the online learning environment. A prerequisite for this pedagogy course is familiarity and facility in the learning management system (LMS), ANGEL. However, training in ANGEL is very limited and inadequate. This newly developed course is designed to fill this gap in training so that faculty is better prepared for a successful experience in the pedagogy course.
