Examination of Appropriate E-Learning Application and Resources from Reflections of Learner and Instructor within an Online Collaborative Learning Environment
Abstract: Online collaborative learning combines the characteristics of collaborative learning and computer-mediated communication within networked environments. Appropriate e-learning activities, applications, and resources are the important factors that support student learning in an online collaborative environment. Student and instructor reflections are the important approaches that indicate problems and improve the quality of an online collaborative classroom. Therefore, purpose of the study is to investigate and demonstrate the reflections of online students and instructors toward technologies, learning activity, and online resources that are provided in an online collaborative learning classroom. The results will be guidance for developing and designing technologies, resources, and learning activities that are effective for promoting student learning within an online collaborative learning classroom in the future.
