Abstract: This paper is about the construction of visual literacy e-learning course, and this course is directed by the philosophy of liberal arts. First, why connect the visual literacy course with the e-learning and liberal arts are stated; second, the model of the visual literacy course is illuminated and analyzed; third, what’s the content in the course and the responding representation are described; fourth, explain what kind of technologies are introduced in the course, and the last, assess the effectiveness of the course by interviewing.
