E-learning potential contribution to a European accreditation of prior experiment learning process
Brief Paper
ID: 34313
Abstract: In this paper, we explore the potential of the use of a e-learning process to improve a new way to obtain a diploma or credential in France, the accreditation of prior experiential learning (APEL). As APEL has been implemented for almost ten years now, the evaluation of the process underlines many limits and weaknesses. From the analysis of these limits, we present how the implementation of a e-learning process associated with related tools could contribute to improve the APEL process in specific circumstances. Following the main stages of an APEL process, we introduce the successive objectives for the APEL candidate, the potential APEL supports and the suggested e-learning supports and tools.
