Abstract: As of 2008, the percentage of the female population that was receiving some form of education was not as high as it could have been. Online education in Saudi Arabia is very new and was accredited by Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) as a way of learning in December 2006. There are many reasons why women’s involvement in e-learning has been decreased in Saudi Arabia. While these online programs are very helpful for women in continuing their education, they have many limitations. This study tries to find what obstacles Saudi women encounter in an online learning environment.
