Abstract: This study examines student perceptions of using Dimdim web-conferencing system as an alternative to face-to-face meetings in two hybrid classes in a Mid-Atlantic University. Participants included adult learners enrolled in two graduated courses that used synchronous interactive web meetings throughout the semester. Data were collected through a survey that was administered to all participants online at the end of the courses. Findings indicated that students were positive towards the use of Dimdim web-conferencing technology as an alternative to face-to-face meetings.
