An Analysis of In-service Teachers' Anxiety, Attitude, and Confidence toward Using Technology in Teaching

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to measure teachers’ anxiety, attitude, and confidence toward using computers in instruction. A total of 127 in-service teachers participated in the study. The results showed: 1. In-service teachers showed a low level of anxiety toward using computers in teaching. 2 In-service teachers reported a positive attitude toward computer use in teaching. 3. In-service teachers showed a high level of confidence in their ability to use the computer as a teaching tool. 4. In-service teachers believe it is important to use the computer as a teaching tool.
