Share Paper: E-Portfolio in a Web 2.0 World: A Pilot Study

Abstract: E-portfolios are a solution to presenting learning in our teacher preparation program because they allow students to play a key role in directing their own learning, to demonstrate creative design, and to conveniently access work on any platform. As the faculty reflects on ways to strengthen the teacher education program, it became apparent that alternative ways to develop an e-portfolio should be explored amidst the Web 2.0 tools available. After continued dialogue, a new model (E-Portfolio Web 2.0) has been developed and will be piloted during the Fall 2011 semester.
