Abstract: Communication is the building block for relationships, whether it is a friendship, marriage, or professional. The personal demands of life, as well as lack of access to various vehicles that promote consistent interaction contribute to breaks in contact. The proposed Action Research project highlights the documented downside that exists between home and school associations expressed by both parties. It also pitches a blueprint for increased and effective communication that is easy to follow and adaptable for each unique learning environment. The success of the project relies fully on honesty, candidness, and clarity of expectations between students, parents, and teachers.
