Abstract: The demand for online teaching has been growing in higher education (Wagner, Hassanein, & Head, 2008). However, many studies indicate concerns over the quality of online course delivery (Schulte, 2010, Trief, Decker, & Ryan, 2004, O’Neal et al., 2007). Trief, Decker, & Ryan (2004) found when designing an online course, most instructors focus too much on technical/media tools instead of pedagogy.
