Abstract: With the development of ICTs, eResearch is a trend for distance collaboration. This paper is a report on our eResearch experiences with daily ICTs. We choose them because they are simple and economical. Our research aim is to make eResearch collaboration efficient. With the method of phenomenology, we accumulate our own daily communication data and make exploration and reflections based on them. Five categories of factors (including culture, cognition, emotion, technology, organization) that facilitate/hinder eResearch collaboration are illustrated. Besides, suggestions on a/synchronous communication are provided based on our own eResearch experiences.
