Share Paper: Didactical Embedded Wiki use in Higher Education - E-learning in Higher Education Based on Concepts and Experiences at the University of Paderborn (D) and the University of Innsbruck (A)

Abstract: This paper is a report of best practice use of wikis in higher education. Using methods of action research it provides a didactical higher education approach to embedding wikis in blended learning contexts. Findings in a prestudy at the University of Paderborn, Germany, and at a first implementation at the University of Innsbruck, Austria indicate that a didactical implementation concept leads to results of higher quality. The paper also offers impressions of the results of the learners to emphasize the use for the learners.
