Abstract: Teaching in the online environment requires faculty to undergo a "paradigm shift" and approach course management differently from their face-to-face courses. In this session, an eight-year distance learning veteran will share practices that have resulted in successful distance learning experiences for the students. Topics and areas to be covered include, but are not limited to: Course assignment schedules, assessment, communicating with students, plagiarism, time management, and presentation tools. This session will include time for Q&A from the audience.
