Abstract: The problem that the Japanese students’ academic abilities, especially knowledge application abilities, are getting lower is pointed out. Latest reports in the literature of the cognitive science field describe that the knowledge must be organized to be used. In this paper, we describe a method of assessing how deeply students’ schema is organized and our system named schema priming test. At last, we write our future tasks.
