Designing an Effective Orientation to the Online Environment

Abstract: This presentation provides a comprehensive overview on how to orient students and learners to an online learning environment. It also provides an approach to addressing technical and computer skills that are necessary for online learning. This approach includes a cyclical process of strategic planning and support, effective instruction, valued results, and the utilization of feedback. Attendees will also learn detailed methods that have successfully worked at Pima Medical Institute.
