Abstract: This paper considers virtual network development and its application in IT education. It begins with the introduction of the virtual networking technology and IT education in general. Specifically, this paper discusses developing the virtual network-based learning environment for IT education. As a virtual networking solution, this paper explores how a virtual network is used to construct a learning environment for networking related IT courses. It examines how the virtual networking tools can be used to improve problem-solving, collaboration, and self-improvement. The last part of the paper presents a virtual networking solution on implementing the virtual lab environment.
