Abstract: With the increasing number of online courses and programs being created by brick and mortar colleges and universities, it imperative that best practices for program development and instruction be followed. There is also a trend whereby multiple departments are partnering to create online degrees. Therefore, the purpose of this program is to identify best practices when creating a multidepartment online cohort graduate program. The United States Distance Learning Association (USDLA) and the Southern Association for Colleges and Schools (SACS) best practices guidelines can be used as a guide.
