Theoretical Construction about Application Process of the Meaningful Learning Principle
Abstract: This study was conducted in the context of an educational model followed by the System of Virtual Campus at a Mexican university. The research paradigm used was qualitative, and the epistemological orientation was a constructivist philosophical stance for development of that theory. The method used was the grounded theory a systematic design approach reconstructed by Creswell in 2008. Six researchers participated, as experts, into this field of study. The strategy was an analysis and interpretation of interviews, documentation, data and theory construction evaluation. The instruments were an interview guide and a questionnaire. The results were: the systematized theoretical construction of the process; and, the results of evaluations regarding of the theoretical construction by experts.
