Abstract: Drawing from the foundational works connected to constructivism, collaborative learning, and social learning development, we present, STRAVEL, a facilitator-learner-focused web application created to offer and influence sustainable travel opportunities through the use of web and mobile user-generated content. STRAVEL also incorporates a travel planning system that encourages slow travel (Lumsdon, 2011) through the use of a user reward model linked to user-generated content development and curation.
