Preparing the Faculty: Ongoing Pedagogical Issues in iPad-Only University Courses
Abstract: This program presents from the perspective of the project evaluators the qualitative and quantitative data on the formation of 29 university faculty as they evolve into instructors of iPad-focused undergraduate courses within the College of Arts and Sciences at Creighton University. Changes in attitudes about technology and pedagogy are discussed, and the evolution of their thinking about, and use of, the iPad as an instructional tool are described. Student comments on their iPad course experiences are used to confirm faculty pedagogical issues.
