Abstract: This paper reports a study on English as a foreign language (EFL) instruction integrating Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs). There is a high demand for university students to study aboard to enhance their English proficiency. The students, now, can prepare themselves for overseas study and the new learning environment using a MOOC. In addition, any student has opportunities for learning from professors at top-ranking American schools, if they wish.
